Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, the engineer and the producers can communicate to studio guests/hosts using talkback. There are 5 headphone outlets in the studio that allows us to create custom headphone mixes for each individual guest.
We use Riverside for recording remote guests and can also be used for external producers to join the session. Additionally, we use the feed from the Blackmagic 6k Cameras with a high speed internet for seamless record and high quality video.
All sessions will be carried out by our highly trained and professional in-house engineers.
A live cut-to-camera mix means the engineer will be showing the closeups of the person speaking and making live edits during the session using the ATEM Mini switcher. A good cut-to-camera mix can make the editing process significantly easier and very helpful for quick turn arounds.
Both studios at VOXPOD have air conditioning and good ventilation to ensure everyone is comfortable.
